(DD-QRA)
combines
some
of
the
most
desirable
functions
of
several
pieces
of
door
hardware.
Operating
as
a
true
double
dead
bolt,
the
DD-QRA
strengthens
the
door
as
it extends
a
bolt
into
the
hinge
and
strike
jamb.
Even
if
the
exterior
door
hinge
pins
are
removed,
the
DD-QRA
holds
the
door
firmly
closed
within
the
frame.
Although
forcible
entry
is
frustrated,
egress
is
easy.
Under
normal
circumstances,
less
than
12
pounds
of
pressure
on
the
paddle
causes
the
bolts
to
retract.
To
relock,
simply
return
the
paddle
to
its
original
position.
Reliability
of
the
operating
mechanism
is
insured
by
the
use
of
an
industrial
grade
steel
gear
and
rack
transmission.
