The Monitor Door
Control System is so unique it is difficult to
compare it with other back door alarms. It is like
comparing apples to oranges. We have comprised a

The Monitor is equipped with
a patented
prop deterrent.
The patented adjustable timer in the alarm box
will cause the alarm to sound, after authorized
use, if the door is not shut in the allotted time.
This will eliminate propped open doors.
The alarm box is armed
to prevent
unauthorized persons from tampering with the time
settings, and unauthorized employees can not turn
off the alarm.
The Monitor alarm automatically
resets
as
soon as the door is closed; it is not dependent on
an employee remembering to rearm the door after use.
The Monitor comes with High
Bias magnetic sensors
which
guard against tampering. People cannot defeat the
system by placing a magnet or other object on the
sensor to simulate that the door is closed. Such
action will set off the alarm.
The Monitor System comes with
a built in automatic
resetting surge protector
on the 110 power supply, and a
15 hour
recharging backup battery
system. This will ensure that the door remains armed
in case of power outage, circuit failure or attempts
to cut off the power illegally. If the power is cut
off for any reason, the back up battery will operate
the unit normally, and recharge itself when power is
restored. Should power not be restored after
approximately 15 hours the alarm will sound.
The keys used with this system
are High
Security Keys,
which help protect against unauthorized duplication
of keys.
All components are designed to
be modular ,
so the end user can easily replace a part without
the use of an expensive tradesman.
A single Monitor system can be
used to secure multiple
doors.
Output connections
are
included in the standard system to allow for
optional features.
The Monitor unit
mounts on the wall,
not the door which prevents damage due to delivery
carts, weather, and slammed doors.
