Over the years we have developed some very unique
products for our customers.
A large Restaurant Chain had a major problem with
pilferage at their receiving doors. They asked us to
design an exit alarm that employees could not
defeat. They needed an alarm that would notify them if the door
was left propped open, an alarm that would rearm
itself automatically, and that could not be
permanently turned off by the staff, an alarm where
the batteries would not go dead and an alarm where
managers could not leave their keys hanging in the
system. The system we designed for them (The
Monitor) was so effective it is currently being used
in over 35 major retail chains to protect security
sensitive doors.
Another company had an after hours problem with their
maintenance company leaving doors ajar so they could
run electrical cords, hoses or steam cleaning
equipment from their trucks to service the building.
They were robbed several times and asked us to find
a solution. We
designed a product we call the “Trap Door”, a
small, locking, stainless steel pass thru that
allows the passage of these hoses and cords into the
building without leaving the door propped open.
